If you spent a bundle on your Michigan wedding, it turns out that you have a greater chance of divorcing. And, statistics say, the more pricey the rock, the more divorce is likely too. A study released by Emory University found that couples who spend over $20,000 on their wedding are 3.5 times more likely to get divorced than those who spend between $5,000 and $10,000 for their nuptials. And women whose engagement ring cost between $2,000 and $4,000 were 1.3 times more likely to get divorced than women with a ring costing between $500 and $2,000. (more…)
